It's funny to think that every object in our lives was made by someone, using their hands.
What kind of mouse are you?
I knew that I'd become a country mouse the day I stood on a New York subway platform and covered my ears while the train whooshed into the station. All I could think was "It's so loud!
Will you run away with the circus?
Forget that to do list! This week's summer temperatures have me dreaming of spontaneously taking a cross country road trip. Or at least escaping to the swimming hole for a picnic.
Does being flung through the air inspire you?
Air travel — there's something very odd about being flung through the air in a giant tin can at 500 miles an hour. It's ungrounding. And when we land, the light, smells and sights are entirely different from the place we left.
