A few weeks ago, while stirring Thanksgiving cranberry sauce, I realized how attached I am to the wooden spoon I was using.
I have strong feelings about many of the tools that I use daily. As a maker, these tools are almost as meaningful to me as the things I make.
I shared my wooden spoon on Facebook and it seemed that everyone had a story, so I created #toolsontuesday to keep up the practice of sharing stories about the tools we use.

This week I'm starting with my jewelry tools. They're not particularly fancy, and some of them are beaten up, but I use them to make every single piece of jewelry. They feel right in my hands and I know what they'll do for me.
